Want to build guitars.....?

I meet a lot of folks who want to make guitars, and I understand - 20 years into my building career, it’s still my favorite way to spend a workday.

However, guitarmaking is not an easy path - and the choices you make at the beginning of your pursuits can make a big difference in your long-term prospects for success.

My latest article in Acoustic Guitar is a first look at my suggestions for those who are considering entering the field. I have more to say about this (believe me!) and will go into greater depth in future articles.
